Authorities sent a Blue Alert to cell phones across Texas Friday morning for a man they allege was involved in the injury of a law enforcement officer. Seth Altman, 33, was last seen in the 200 block of South 4th St.

Seth Altman, 33, who was last seen in Memphis, Texas, around 80 miles south of Amarillo. He is sought in connection with the injury of a law enforcement officer.

The Blue Alert, which is one form of an alert sent out by Texas law enforcement to residents statewide, hit cellphones before 5 a.m. Friday, according to a DPS statement. In the alert, the agency said it is searching for 33-year-old Seth Altman, who is wanted out of a rural town in the Texas Panhandle.
