Texas A&M redshirt freshman quarterback Marcel Reed’s second-half surge in last week’s win over then-No. 8 LSU appears to have propelled him back into the starting position for the No. 10 Aggies as they take on South Carolina at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Texas A&M (7-2, 5-1 SEC) is no longer the last undefeated team in SEC play after Week 10, as the Aggies were blown out in every facet of the term on the road against South Carolina (5-3, 3-3 SEC) 44-20 after giving up 286 rushing yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
