At this week’s Dunhill Links, which features both PGA Tour and LIV Golf stars, Rory McIlroy hinted at when pro golf may come back together.

Rory McIlroy’s positivity over the key figures from the PGA Tour and LIV Golf meeting this week has been shot down by Rich Beem. McIlroy, 35, is currently in Scotland for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, which sees amateur players compete alongside full-time professionals.

So it is that, Thursday at Carnoustie, PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan and his professional partner, Billy Horschel, will tee-up alongside Yasir Al-Rumayyan, the man who runs Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, and his partner, LIV Golf League player Dean Burmester.
