Tesla Inc. notified US auto-safety officials of a fifth recall involving the Cybertruck in the less than a year since the polarizing pickup launched.

Tesla is recalling 27,185 Cybertruck vehicles because of visibility problems with their rearview camera. It is the fifth recall for the stainless steel electric pickup truck since it first hit the road at the end of 2023.

Tesla is recalling more than 27,000 Cybertrucks because the rearview camera image may not activate immediately after shifting into reverse, the fifth recall for the vehicle since it went on sale late last year.
